12.29.04 - Remodeled! Navigation is to the left where the chess pieces are - rollovers! Everything else is pretty much the same, just with new, spiffy images and stuff. I got rid of the mailing list thing because frankly, it annoys me and no one uses it anyway. The three whole people currently on the mailing list will still be informed for now - I'll probably redo the system later, but right now I just don't want to bother with it. Wow, these colors sort of hurt my eyes...but I think that's because I've been staring at them for two-three hours. :D Anyway, 2 new oekaki. My tablet seems to be getting better, hopefully it will stay better and not freak out anytime soon.

PS - if your browser can't display either the IE or FF version of the site correctly, then sorry you're screwed because I'm not making any more compromises. =/

12.27.04 - 1 new fanart, 1 new oekaki, 1 new collab. I hardcoded all of the image gallery. It took forever and was tedious and I think I lost a few brain cells doing it, but it's done. All browsers should now be able to view everything. Lemme me know if anything looks weird or isn't working. My tablet isn't working correctly at the moment, so if there isn't a remodel up by the 4th then that's why. I may go ahead and try to make it with a mouse, but eh...we'll see. That is all.

12.22.04 - Righty then. 3 new fanarts, 3 new ap portfolio items, 2 new oekaki, 2 new sigs, 2 new gifts from me, 1 new wallpaper, 1 new commission, and a new section under "other": pixel sprites, which debuts with 11 pixel sprites that are part of the same package. I think that's everything that I've done in the last month. Merry Christmas. (PS - you can comment now, yay!)

On another note, I'm hoping to remodel the site again before break is over on Jan. 4th so that it'll show up correctly on all browsers. I also noticed that the XML scripts weren't working on Firefox or Safari either (standard language, my ass!) so I'm looking to get rid of that script completely and just manually code everything in if I can't figure out php or asp in the next few days. It's going to be a pain in the ass, but I'm gonna try. For now, this site only looks as it's supposed to on Internet Explorer. Sorry. =/

11.22.04 - Huzzah. New domain. New site name. New layout. :D (Okay, so that's not too much of a change, especially considering this layout is very similar to Aurora Borealis's version 11: Surreal. And yeah, the domain is only a URL redirection, but for technical reasons I do not care to explain right now, I can't have it NOT be a a URL redirection at this point in time. Anyway!) Reorganized photos; split the graphics into sigs and everything else; added a subdivision under original art for all of my ap portfolio stuff. So the real updates: 4 new oekaki, 3 new sigs, 6 new ap portfolio things, 1 new fanart, 1 new wallpaper, 1 new commission, 2 new junk, random new photos, and new link banners, of course. If you see any broken links or anything anywhere, please tell me. Don't know how soon exactly the next update will be, but I'm working on a lot of things right now, so I guess whenever I do update, it should be big. Probably around Christmastime?

09.29.04 - As promised, an update before the end of the month: 2 new original, 3 new graphics, 2 new wallpapers, 3 new oekaki, 1 new gift (out), 1 new collab, and I added a few new links and pruned some out. I have a lot of not-so-great drawings and stuff I could add but I don't have time at the moment and really want to reorganize some things before I do (yes, again). Also, thanks for 15k hits; I'll work on a general kiriban, but I don't know when/if it'll be finished. Sorry I don't have much time to work on this right now. Next update will probably be at the end of October/early November, but no promises.

08.11.04 - Heh...today is the site's third birthday. I had completely forgotten until I came here to update since school starts tomorrow. But anyway, I added a lot of crap - mostly oekakis. Woohoo. 19 new oekakis (I don't remember the last time I've done SO much fanart...). Two new gifts (out). One new commission. Goody, goody, site's been up for three whole years, huh?

07.27.04 - I added commentary to the photomanips. One new fanart; four new oekaki; one new gift (from me); one new original; one new collab...I think that's all. M'thinking about putting up the original writing again. Dunno, maybe next time I remodel. I wanna remodel now, but I think I'm getting a domain soon (October?!) and want to wait till then before I remodel...but I don't want to wait at the same time. -.- I dunno. We'll see, I guess...

07.09.04 - Wow, I update almost bi-monthly now...lazy. I have stuff to add, but I let it pile up until half a month has passed already. Neh. Two new oekakis, two new fanarts, one of which is a trade (I've decided to just put up my half of art trades into fanart because I don't always like my half of the trade and if I have a section entirely for trades then I'd feel more obliged to post my half even if it sucks and I don't wanna do that.), two new graphics, I still need to go and seperate my sig banners from all the graphics, and one new photo manip that I didn't manipulate all that much...I took the picture then added blended some crap in. Also added a few links.

06.16.04 - One new junk picture (it's a tattoo design), one new giftart, one new completed commission, as well as a completed commission information page.

06.01.04 + 06.02.04 - New layout (obviously) finally. Very simplistic, but I didn't have the patience to do anything else. Maybe the next remodel will be soon, as I'll probably tire of this one quickly.

I wrote up a script thing that displays information of the pictures in the gallery now so you get a whole page instead of just the picture. I was going to just leave it as an XML thing, but then it wouldn't have worked on anything less than IE6 and Netscape, what, 7, so I added JavaScript stuff to it, so it should work with most people. One drawback of the script is that I can't link stuff within it (well, I probably could, but it'd take a lot more logical script thinking, and figuring out how to link the picture gave me enough headaches, so normal text links will be a later venture), so if I reference to a site or something, the URL will just be given in parenthesis(). Also, a lot of the older pictures will be "untitled" and the time I spent working on it will be "unknown" because I didn't use to name things and I didn't use to time myself.

The script is only implemented in the fanart, original art, giftart, collab, and commission galleries. I got rid of the natural media and just sorted the stuff in there according to fanart or original. Also got rid of the requests section, but I'll probably put up the art trade stuff again if I ever figure out how to organize them. The oekaki, graphics, and photo sections don't have the script for now because of the sheer size of the galleries. They may be converted later, but really, there isn't much to say about a lot of the stuff there seeing as they take so little time to do. I may purge the graphics section though and/or split it off two sections, one for sig-banners and one for everything else. Also added a junk section for simpler works and whatnot that I like enough to upload.

Notes About The Layout: Goddamnit, I hate tables! MYRAGH! See that stupid thing hanging off the side over there? The little rectangular thing? That's supposed to be like the things you use to open and close your blinds. That thing kept messing up the damned table and I HATE IT. Some of the pages are stretched but it's almost one in the morning and I can't be bothered. Because of my idiotic delete-happy fingers, I accidentally killed my entire "images" folder, which contained all the link banners and all the screenshots, among other site-things. Therefore, there are a LOT of broken images in the links and wallpapers sections. I'll fix them in the morning. Right now, I need sleep. (By the way, Niru is the "home" button up there at the top.)

Edit (9:17 am, June 2nd); Okay, all the pictures should be working now...Had to make about 4-5 bullshit banners because I lost my old ones and stuff...muraheheheheh...Okay. Also. Apparently. The XML-JavaScript scripting isn't working for a friend of mine's multiple browsers. If the script isn't working for you...please email me with your browser name...I'll see if I can fix it and if I can't, then I guess I'll take it down. Which would suck considering the time I put into it. -.-

05.28.04 - Yes, I know I've been lacking updates. It isn't as if I've got nothing to add though. I got a new, nice and spacious hard drive, but I still have to find and reinstall all of my old programs. FrontPage is one of the ones I can't find right now, so updating is annoying because I have to edit the HTML directly and stuff. Also, can't find a working driver for my scanner, so I can't scan anything...Besides all of that, I really want to reorganize a lot of stuff, not to mention that remodel I've been talking about for two months now and stuff. So yeah. Gimme a week or so to give the site a major rehaul and I'll update. It's summer now and I have lots of stuff I wanna get done in these ten weeks, so hopefully that means a lot more content. Woo. So yeah, keep posted?

04.28.04 - Another oekaki, one new original, of which I am also fairly proud...and a matching wallpaper. It's all very green isn't it...I really wanna remodel. I really still got no ideas. Mrowr. School's out in four and a half weeks. Oh, and a very Wolf's Rain inspired graphic, almost forgot...er..other thing I forgot: new photo section, photo manip, with one picture.

04.13.04 - My Photoshop is ALIVE. Yay. And here we are with some real updates. Another new oekaki, one new fanart, of which I am very proud, one new natural med (the original of the fanart), one new original, one new wallpaper, one new neopets commission; I purged the links section, removed a bunch, added a few; made some more link banners, and...that's all I think. Woo. I want to remodel, but I don't have time or an idea at the moment. Kinda sucks since I've had this layout for like four months now, but I don't think I'll get around to remodeling until after school lets out. I dunno.

04.09.04 - Six new pictures in natural media, all of which were part of my Shakespeare Project for English. One new oekaki, and I fixed up some odds and ends here and there.

03.30.04 - Another new oekaki and four new photos that are mostly for your amusement. No, they weren't taken in San Antonio because I forgot to bring the camera on the trip. -.- Oh well. Also, three new natural media pictures, including two that are like a month old now, but I had just forgotten to add them. Natural media is more fun that I thought, eh? Heh. PS - Photoshop still isn't working.

03.15.04 - Three more new oekaki. Two new photos. I'm going to be in San Antonio from Thursday - Sunday, so maybe I'll get to get some pictures there. PS - Photoshop still doesn't work.

02.28.04 - Two new oekaki. One new image in requests & trades that I actually did back in November but never added...I have a few pictures in my sketchbook I need to scan for natural media. 'Cept, I was thinking. Why do I have natural media and oekaki seperated as seperate mediums while CG isn't? I should just pick one to sort by...either topic or media. So it'd all be either fanart/original/requests&commissions/gifts/trades/collabs OR cg/oekaki/traditional...but then...maybe gifts/collabs/requests/commissions should be seperate anyway. I don't know. I just get the feeling that I'm very disorganized right now. >.< Not to mention my Photoshop broke so I probably won't have many CGs rolling in for a while. Not like they have been anyway.

02.15.04 - The Homicidal Maniac is C O M P L E T E. I deleted the old chapters 10 and 14, thus bumping back everything after it two chapters. and so, the final chapter, Chapter 50, is done and up, completing the two-year old story. HURRAH. I told you I'd finish before it's second anniversary! (the 17th).

02.11.04 - Chapter 51 of The Homicidal Maniac is up. A new section for art, natural media, with two pictures in there.

02.08.04 - One new original; two new oekaki; two new crappy graphics; one new wallpaper; a few new links. The 17th is The Homicidal Maniac's second year anniversary; I hope to have at least the next chapter of it out by then, if not the story completed. Note the "hope". M'also going to try and get proper descriptions of my CGs up so that they open in actual pages and have information and crap and stuff. Ehhh...I'm lazy.

01.25.04 - Eh. Chapter 50 of The Homicidal Maniac is up. Don't really like it but oh well. One crappy new oekaki, and that's it. I keep meaning to go sort through more photos, but it never happens. I think I'm going to add a sketch section to art because I never get around to coloring 75% of the crap I draw, so yeah. Meh. I also deleted some crap in fanart and original art because frankly, certain pictures in there were sources of horrible shame and it was bothering me. Man, it seems this site is getting smaller all the time instead of bigger, huh?

01.11.04 - Yay! I remodeled. It's so sparkly and bright isn't it? Meh. Anyway, I have 41 new photos that I took while in California. I think I have more, but I'm too lazy to dig them out at the moment. That stupid date stamp on the photos are annoying huh?
